One of the best debates I’ve watched in a long, long time. In this video Stef is particularly grounded, well spoken and concise in his points. Sometimes he can make very strong moral arguments which to people on the fence can sometimes be off-putting if they have a more analytical personality. I believe this debate would be perfect for them so share it far and wide. We really need to make an effort to share these kinds of videos in places where they might not normally be seen. Facebook is okay and all but start thinking of other ways to get this stuff out there. Do you post on an apolitical forum? Post stuff like this in their off-topic sections. Are you reading the comments section of some random news article and you see an opportunity to share a video like this, then do it! I believe there are HUGE untapped numbers of people who would find stuff like this fascinating if they could be just convinced to watch a few minutes. Simply market it as an “interesting debate” because we have the best ideas. The people who would watch this and come away taking the professor’s side will not be people we can convince anyway. Those who aren’t sure either way will feel compelled to research further.

When we’re feeling lazy, we can, at the very least, try to share other people’s work as often as possible!
